Maintenance and Inspection Schedule

Daily
  • Check the seal water flow to the pump seals.
Monthly
  • Test the emergency water system to ensure it is functioning properly.
Shutdown
  • Inspect the inside of the Quench Tower paying particular attention to the condition of the lining.  Repair as required.

  • Inspect the gas inlet and check for corrosion of the metal duct.

  • Remove and clean all spray nozzles.  Replace as required.

  • Inspect and overhaul pumps as required.
