Introduction
The following pictures illustrates the erection of a gas/gas heat exchanger on its foundations.
Exchanger being rigged up for lift off the truck
Initial lift off the truck
Lift to the vertical position
Three cranes are used to lift this exchanger
Crane on bottom of the exchanger is relaeased
Exchanger positioned on top of the foundation
Workers manuevering exchanger to line up holes with anchor bolts
Once the base of the exchanger is secured the rigging of the overhead cranes is released
Tubing of the erected exchanger
