General Wylton (China) Chemical Co., Ltd has a registered capital of USD 10.5 million and total assets of  over RMB 370 million.  In 2002, the company invested RMB 130 million to build up a set of 400kt-per-year Sulphuric Acid facility which was put into operation in July 2003. In the same year, the facility passed the performance tests, most of the indexes leading in the industry. In December 2004, another RMB 120 million was invested to build a second set of 400kt facility and the total Sulphuric Acid capacity reached 800kt by October 2005.
Wylton (China) Chemical Co., Ltd mainly produces Sulphuric Acid (SA), medium- and low-pressure steam, which are all sold to Guizhou Hongfu Industry Development General Company, the largest phosphate fertilizer producer in China.  Wylton (China) has forged close strategic cooperation with Guizhou Hongfu by establishing its facilities in their factory area. The water, electricity and steam required for production is supplied from Hongfu, and the final product, high-quality Sulphuric Acid, is transferred by pipelines and used for Hongfu’s phosphate fertilizer production. The win-win cooperation lowers operational costs and brings the advantages of both sides to full play.

August 19, 2011 - On 29 July, 2011, Wylton Dazhou Chemical Co., Ltd. welcomed its commencement of 800kt-per-year sulfuric acid facility and their trial runs successfully in one go.  In 2003, Wylton Canada Limited introduced its first set of 400kt-per-year sulfuric acid facility, which successfully lead to the transformation and upgrading of the sulfuric acid industry in China. Wylton Dazhou, now Wylton’s third set of large-sized sulfur-based sulfuric acid facility, has been equipped with critical world leading machinery, energy-saving and environment-protecting devices such as heart recovery system, tail gas desulfurization system and noise control systems, to keep maintaining Wylton’s leading position in acid-making technology as well as in production operations. Till now, the unit has run smoothly with noteworthy indexes. In addition, current emissions of sulfur dioxide before being conveyed into tail gas treatment pipelines is below 400 mg/Nm3, which is lower than the national standard for emission discharges. Future additional procedures on sulfur removal will yield even more desirable results.  Wylton Dazhou is located in the chemical industrial park of Dazhou, Sichuan province. As a part of Wengfu Dazhou Phosphorus and Sulfur Chemical Base, all sulfuric acid and steam products are supplied to Wengfu Dazhou’s 300 thousand tons phosphoric acid facility. The successful commencement of Wylton Dazhou acted as a positive continuation of “Wengfu-Wylton’s Strategic Cooperation Model”. Additionally, it signifies as the beginning of a new era for Wylton’s business progresses in the field of sulfuric acid production.

China Energy Recovery, Inc., which designs, manufactures and installs waste heat energy recovery systems, today announced it signed an 18 million RMB (US $2.6 million) engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract with sulfuric acid producer, Wylton (Dazhou) Chemical Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of Wylton (China) Chemical Co., Ltd. to build and install a low-temperature waste heat recovery system for Wylton's 800,000 ton-per-year sulfuric acid plant.CER received an initial payment equal to 20 percent of the contract amount from Wylton. The remainder of the contract will be remitted over the course of the project, which is scheduled for completion in December 2010."CER has considerable background and experience in providing waste heat recovery systems for large-scale sulfuric acid plants and we are grateful to Wylton Chemical for providing this opportunity to apply our expertise," CER Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Qinghuan Wu, said."We are confident in the strength of our technology and our engineering," Mr. Wu said. "We look forward to the new year and the opportunities it will bring, in China and abroad."

April 6, 2010 - On March 11th, 2010 Wylton (China) Chemical Co., Ltd. held a ceremony to start construction on the 800 000 t/a sulfuric acid making facility in Wengfu Dazhou Phosphorus and Sulfur Chemical Base, southwestern China's Sichuan province.  Total investment of the project is RMB280 million. Wylton Dazhou Chemical Co., Ltd. undertakes the construction.

September 22, 2005 - Wylton (China) successfully conducted its load commissioning of the second sulphuric acid plant on 22nd of September. The construction of this new plant was launched in September last year. All Wylton (China) employees made efftorts to ensure the smooth operation of the new plant. The project adopts the Robinson fans, Lewis sulphur pumps and sulphuric acid pumps that Wylton sells in China. The sulphuric acid production capacity reached 1200 t/d in average and 1263 t/d to the highest. The general conversion ratio rose to 99.85% 10 hours after the commission started and the general absorbing ratio reached 99.995%. All figures show the equipment works well. The outstanding operation of this commission marks the milestone for the Wylton sulphuric acid project that has stepped into its new era.
