General Founded in 1989 in Serravalle Scrivia, near Alexandria, to provide industry with reliable and economically competitive solutions for the management of waste sulfur.  The company produces sulfuric acid regenerating spent and recovering waste acids containing sulfur.

The plant technology So.Ri.S. It is based on the following process flow:
  • decomposition at high temperature sulfuric acid off, part of the sulfur waste and combustion of elemental sulfur and its residues;
  • thermal recovery and energy production;
  • catalytic oxidation of SO2 to SO3;
  • dell'SO3 absorption in H2SO4
The heat treatment takes place in two furnaces, one to static chamber and one in the rotating drum that operate at temperatures of about 1100 ° C.All wastes are approved through rigorous acceptance procedures with analyzes performed in the laboratory and systematic analytical checks on arrivals.
