News July 6, 2010 - On 2 July 2010 a ceremony for completion of the recovery of sulfuric acid.  The ceremony was attended by more than 80 guests.  Construction of the plant absorbed 47 million zl.  The main executor of the investment company Research Center - Manufacturing "ALCOR" Sp. z oo.   Licensor and trechnology supplier is Haldor Topsoe A/S.  The purpose of the construction of a sulfuric acid recovery plant is to improve the economics of the process of coking benzene processing by closing the loop of sulfuric acid.  This effect will be achieved through the recovery of sulfuric acid by-products processing process benzene containing significant amounts of sulfur compounds. Resulting in a new installation of concentrated sulfuric acid will be used in the acid refining process, which is one of the stages of processing and benzene will be directed to sell.  As a result of the combustion gas is generated batch of raw materials containing sulfur dioxide Process.  Process hot gas is cooled with water boiler with a simultaneous formation of water vapor, and then extracted in a electrostatic precipitator.  Dust concentrated in the electrostatic precipitator will be emptied into special sealed containers.  The next step is the process of converting sulphur to sulphur trioxide in the catalytic bed.  After leaving the reactor, process gas is directed to the sulfuric acid condenser where it condenses by cooling the sulfuric acid.  Principal, described above, the process is accompanied by processes to support the initial preparation of raw materials for the manufacture of sulfuric acid and water to produce steam.  An additional and very important for our Company asset for the construction of a sulfuric acid recovery plant will be visible ecological effect: a significant reduction in emissions of sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide and PM10.
