General Mineral Fertilizers affiliate of Kazphosphate LLC (Taraz) is a chemical plant on production of mineral fertilizers and fodder fluorine free phosphates for agriculture.

The factory covers an area of 449.2 hectares and incorporates the following main units:

  • Production of phosphate – nitrogen fertilizers – ammophos (monoamnionium - phosphate) 10% N / 46% Р2О5;
  • Production of simple superphosphate 19% Р2О5;
  • Production of sulphoammophos 18% Р2О5,  18% N;
  • Production of nitroammophos  22% Р2О5,  22% N;
  • Production of fodder TCP 27% P2O5;
  • Production of fodder sodium-potassium phosphate 41% P2O5;

Main part of final products is sold in internal market. The governmental program of support of local farmers with subsidized fertilizers works stably for several years. Besides fertilizers the materials are exported to China, Ukraine, Byelorussia, Tadjikistan, EU markets. Large work on developing the phosphate fertilizers markets of Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Rumania, Czech and Bulgaria is in progress.
