- GEC-Alsthom (France) supplied power station on a turnkey basis (27 MW) - Overall project schedule: 30 months - Located at the same site as Maroc Phosphore III & IV. Original site was developed with consideration for the expansion of the production capacity. - Enable project to benefit from existing infrastruture (i.e. port, railway, roads, storage, electrical distribution, effluent collection and treatment, sea water and fresh water supply, workshops, etc. |

General | Indo Maroc Phosphore SA (IMACID), a Joint Venture, between Chambal and Office Cherifen Des Phosphate (OCP) commenced commercial production in November 1999 at the port of Jorf Lasfar, Morocco. The IMACID Factory produces 3,300 MT per day of Sulphuric Acid. Subsequently, both Chambal and OCP disinvested one third of their respective holdings in IMACID to Tata Chemicals Limited. |
