Located in Zhenchuan Commune, Mianxian County, Shaanxi Province, and as the core-membership enterprise of Shaanxi Non-Ferrous Metal Holding Group Ltd, and base for lend-zinc smelting, Hanzhong Zinc Industry Co., Ltd has over 1500 staffs, mainly engaging in the production of zinc ingot metal, lead ingot, commercial sulfuric acid, etc. By the end of 2007, the total asset of the company reached RMB 1.5 billion Yuan. Its electrolytic zinc production in 2007 reached 0.12 million tons, commercial sulfuric acid production reached 0.18 million tons, gross industrial output value reached RMB 3 billion Yuan, sales income reached RMB 3.2 billion Yuan and profit payments and tax turnover totaled to be RMB 0.27 billion Yuan. 
The zinc ingot metal and lead ingot of “Shuangyan” brand produced by the company passed IS0900l International Quality System Certification in January 2003, were awarded product quality golden cup prize successively from 2003 to 2007 by China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association, and were honored as Shaanxi Province Famous Brand products in 2007. In 2007, the company passed Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series ISO14001 and GB/T28001, its Cleaner Production project was checked and accepted by Provincial Environmental Protection Bureau.  Synthesis Recycling Project yearly producing 80 thousand tons of nodon valve and 69 thousand tons of commercial sulfuric acid will be constructed and put into production in March 2008, which will bring the company newly increased industrial output value of RMB 1 billion Yuan and RMB 0.15 billion Yuan of profit payments and tax turnover a year. Technical innovation yearly producing 200 tons of electrolytic zinc and 300 thousand tons of commercial sulfuric acid will come into full operation and construction at the beginning of 2008. It is estimated that by the end of Eleventh Five-year Plan, the company will form a production ability of producing 350 thousand tons of electrolytic zinc, 500~600 thousand tons of commercial sulfuric acid, 60~100 thousand tons of nodon valve a year. Yearly sales income reached RMB 7~10 billion Yuan and profit payments and tax turnover reached about RMB 1.8 billion Yuan.  Since its establishment, the company was successively awarded more than ten honorary titles of advanced unit of technical renovation, credit enterprise, Class A tax payer, enterprise who do scientific and technological innovation, Sihao (doing well in politic qualification, operation achievement, solidify and cooperation, style and image)Leadership construction leading group, etc. In 2007, the company was awarded the titles of “Winner Unit of National Ankang Cup Competition” by All China Federation of Trade Union and State Administration of Work Safety, and was awarded the title of “2007 Nonferrous Enterprises Class AAA Credit Unit”.
