Recycling
activities at the Duisburg plant are based on a process
developed by Grillo-Werke.
Industrial wastes are incinerated in two
separate drum-type furnaces at high temperatures.
The gas that is
released is cleaned and used as a raw material to produce high-purity liquid
sulphur dioxide.
