News September 30, 2014 -  Since August 2014 Efremov branch of JSC ShchekinoAzot has been one of the main large manufacturer of sulphuric acid of high purity in Russia. It became possible due to implementing of 2 stages of modernization.
The first stage of activities was executed as planned in the beginning of 2014. Two new lines were installed and as a result productivity of the department where sulphuric acid of high purity is manufactured increased and became 44 tons per month.
It was agreed on further capacity increasing by means of creating and including into production scheme five more new lines. The second stage of modernization began and it finished in August, allowing to increase manufacture index to 75 tons per month.  Today the department is working on maximal loads and one may hope that Efremov branch, having become one of the largest manufacturers of sulphuric acid of high purity in Russia, will satisfy the demands of enterprises situated in the central part of Russia. Efremov chemical plant modernization plan was supplemented with the control system of electrical energy consumption which did not demand expenses on purposefully purchased equipment as the equipment was installed from existing spare parts. It became being used owing to efforts and professional skills of the staff and during 5 months of activities it gave economic benefit of 11 million 342 thousand rubles.   Control system allows to monitor parameters of gas and electrical energy consumption and to analyze the most profitable for every separate moment of time option of fuel consumption for the enterprise.  11 million 318 thousand rubles is the economic effect from modernization of the ramp extension, loading to tank-containers of oleum and acid of “K” grade. Now from the new loading points one can dispatch products both to cisterns, and to tank-containers.   Almost all activities on modernization of Efremov branch are aimed at decrease of energy consumption and consequently at primecost. Factual economic benefit from implementing modernization plan totaled 25 million 307 thousand rubles.
