General BASF See Sen Sdn Bhd is a joint venture acquired from Merck in 2005. The company located in Kemaman, Terengganu is a 70:30 joint venture between BASF and See Sen Chemical Berhad. BASF See Sen Sdn Bhd produces ultra pure Sulfuric Acid (PPT Grade) which is widely used in the electronic industry for cleaning silicon wafers used in the manufacture of microchips.
