Thus during October 2008 it was increased production of practically all main products of the Concern. Particularly during October it was produces 123 853 t of ammonia (+ 4,1% comparing to October 2007), 79 152 t of urea (+3,1%), 49529 t of granulated ammonium nitrate (+24,7%), 2 642 t of sodium nitrate (+14,9%).  Also it was produced 94 mln. 389 ths. items of medicines, same level of October 2007. Also at the level of October 2007 it was production volume of Stirol own electrical power, i.e. 15,6 ths. kWth.  Due to maintenance of sulfuric acid plant during October it was reduced sulfuric acid production by 15,5%. Collapse of construction volumes in this country, resulted in demand slump for construction materials has leaded to production decrease of polystyrenes by 4,6%.  As for the sales volumes, Concern indicators for October 2008 were higher comparing to “non-recessionary” October 2007 by 65,9%. During October 2008 it was sold ammonia 3 times more comparing to the same period of 2007 (167 mln. 531 ths. UAN, 343,9%, against October 2007), it was also sold urea on the amount of 165 mln. 212 ths. UAN (+67,0%), granulated ammonium nitrate - 65 mln. 992 ths. UAN (+123,5%), sodium nitrate - 5 mln. 160 ths. UAN (+ 116,0%), medical products on the sum of 3 mln. 614 ths. UAN (+ 2,6%). Due to above mentioned reasons sales of polystyrenes decreased by 3,6%.
