General	Heat Recovery Project - The purpose of the project activity is to recover the waste heat from the sulphuric acid production line of Yihua Dajiang Compound Fertilizer Co., Ltd. to provide heat and power. The project activity involves installation of HRS system (Heat Recovery System), and co-generation system with the rated output of 12 MW, with the expected 8000 operating hours per year. The heat, recovered from the sulphuric acid line in the form of steam, will be delivered to co-generation units to provide power and steam. The electricity is supplied to Sodium Hydroxide (SH) plants in Yihua Chemical Industry Stock Company and the heat is fed to Phosphoric Acid (PA) plants in Yihua Dajiang Compound Fertilizer Co. Ltd. The implementation of the project activity will produce 1768.64 TJ heat and 81400 MWh power supply per year, net quantity of electricity supplied to SH plants after minus auxiliary consumption of the project activity, resulting in estimated emission reductions of 195,034 t CO₂.

News	September 4, 2010 - A sulphur dioxide leak sent184 local residents, some living more than a kilometer from the accident, to hospital in Yichang, central China's Hubei Province, confirmed local officials Monday afternoon. The accident occurred at 4:50 p.m. Sunday, when sulphur dioxide leaked from the Hubei Yihua Dajiang Fertilizer Co., Ltd, said HuangChun, head of the Yichang Bureau of Work Safety. By Monday noon, 163 had been released from hospital while ten were still being treated for poisoning. The cause of the accident is under investigation. September 3, 2006 - Sulphur dioxide leakage happened at a 600 000 t/ a STA (sulfur-to-acid) unit during the trial production process in Dajiang Compound Fertilizer Co., Ltd. located in Yichang, Hubei province. 184 people received medical inspection after the accident with 7 person poisoned.
